Golden Cross Pub

(23 Ratings)
Cornerstone of Cardiff camp
The Golden Cross serves up the best of both worlds: the traditional pub (including the traditional home-cooked Sunday lunch) and gay bar (karaoke, cabaret and strippers). Laid back by day, this pub becomes a campy hotspot of entertainment every night.

A gay clientele that goes back longer than the established 'gay' pub that it is.

Safe traditional style pub. Worth a visit on the weekend if you are visiting Cardiff!

Golden Hmmm

Traditional british boozer from the outside. Strange inside. Obviously has its regulars but after a couple of visits I was left with two impressions. The first being the bar staff were rude, obnoxious, unfriendly and seemed to treat customers as an inconvinience. The second was that on kariokee night there are some damn good singers in this bar. Nice outside smoking area though.
